Welcome to this week's edition of the Comfort Elementary School Newsletter! Just a reminder that instruction begins at 7:45 each morning. Please have your students at school before class begins. If you are late, as the yellow sign states, you must come into the office with your child and sign them in.

Hi Parents,

It’s hard to believe we’ve already wrapped up the second week of school! I’m so excited for all the things we’ll be learning together this year during whole group counseling. You can check out the September Counseling Calendar to see when I’ll be visiting your child’s class.

September's topics:

September is a perfect time to help our younger students keep building their emotional skills while giving our older students tools to aim high and stay focused. There are many great things in store for us this year at Comfort Elementary.

Please remember that school will be held on all Fridays in August and on Septermber 5, 2025.

School will be closed Monday, September 1, 2025 in observance of Labor Day.

We will return to school on Tuesday September 2, 2025.

Beginning-of-the-year testing will continue this week with our Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade students. Upper grade levels will follow in the coming weeks. Thank you for supporting a smooth and successful start to our assessment season!
