October is Bullying Prevention Month.
At Comfort Elementary, we believe every student deserves to feel safe and valued. Throughout the month of October, we’ll be doing special classroom activities to help students learn how to recognize bullying, stand up for themselves and others, and practice kindness in their daily lives. These lessons are designed to build confidence and connection.
My goal is to help every child feel supported and empowered to use their voice.
Some tips for building confidence at home:
Set realistic goals together.
Help your child set small, achievable goals. When they meet them, they’ll feel a sense of accomplishment that builds lasting confidence.
Model self-confidence.
Let your child see you facing challenges with a positive attitude. When you show confidence in yourself, they learn to do the same.
Take care,
Mrs. Irvin
